Help us break the economic link between advertising and harmful content, driving change through industry, platform, and policy – donate to the Conscious Advertising Network (CAN) today! Donated funds will be used exclusively for CAN’s mission. To ensure impartiality, donors via our website have no say in how their donations are spent.

Read our donations policy summary below.

  • CAN does not accept donations from corporate advertising, publishing, or big tech organisations. Individuals can donate to CAN, as long as they have not recently (in the last 6 months) been subject to a complaint against their organisation’s adherence to CAN’s processes.
  • Donations over £1,000 will be accompanied by higher levels of scrutiny by Directors. For donations over £10,000, appropriate checks will be carried out to verify the donor’s identity and flag any concerns related to Anti-Money Laundering/ Proceeds of Crime regulation, conflict of interest or other potential areas of concern.
  • CAN is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards. We have implemented measures to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure that donations are used solely for their intended purposes. These measures include:
    • Disclosure: Any potential conflicts of interest will be investigated and, if valid, disclosed to donors. Donations which are not compliant with our policies will be returned to the donor.
    • Independent Oversight: CAN’s Directors oversee the use of donations and ensure compliance with this policy.
